SACRED WATERFALL

The Sacred Waterfall is part of Casa Dom Inacio and about 5 minutes away by taxi or about a 25 minute walk.  It is known not only by it's amazing, luscious beauty but for it's spontaneous healings that occur when you are under it's cold stream.  Here, the Entitites offer assistance to those who get permission from John of God to visit and must be visited with a guide the first time.

Once you get to the entrance, it is a steep incline but it is paved, so it's easy to hike all the way down.  It is amazing, how you get absorbed in this place of huge tress, different shades of green and soft moss growing all over!  You can hear the birds chirping in the sky and the flapping of their wings fading away.  Beautiful butterflies with bright colors, silently dance around also.  They say that if you see a blue butterfly, it is the prescence of an Entity making itself known to you.... It is quite a mystical experience to spend time in such a magical place!

The waterfall is considered so sacred that you are not allowed to take pictures, videos or remove anything from it's premises.  It is a place still in time, undisturbed.  Even if thousands of people have visited, it keeps it's presence, it's legitimate right to be.  Here, your senses absorb the loving energy that lingers within the trees, the water and the soil.  A place where you are invited to participate in a deep cleansing -inside out- and benefit from the Entities unconditional love and healing gifts.  This is a place they picked for us, to feel one with mother earth, to connect us not only with the sacred nature of it's own existence, but also to remind us of ours.
